We anticipate many applications for Ariel. Please be patient as we read through all the applications and check the references and vet information. It may take 7 -10 days to go through them. We will then decide which home best meets Ariel's needs.
Ariel is a very pretty and sweet female Birman, born in April 2020. She loves human companionship and would do best in a home without any other pets so she gets all the attention.
She was surrendered by an elderly lady who had to move in with her daughter and son-in-law and they did not want Ariel in the house. The owner even had Ariel declawed (at two-years-old!) in order to keep her and they still would not let Ariel into their home.
Since she is declawed, Ariel requires special litter by Dr. Elsey called “Paw Sensitive”. Her adoptive family needs to be aware that this litter is a necessity because of her paws. Other brands of litter would hurt her feet.
Ariel only took only a few days to settle in the foster home and is already affectionate and friendly with her foster mom. Ariel’s foster mom said she loves, loves attention! She likes to watch television with the family and snuggle up to them in bed. Ariel is also very curious and enjoys exploring everything that looks intriguing.
Ariel is an expert at hiding. When she first arrived at her foster home, she squeezed behind some towels on a shelf and could not be found for hours!
Ariel wants a home with a person or people who work from home or are retired so she can have her human companionship all the time. Could your home be the right one for Ariel? Do you have the time to give this little girl all the attention she needs?
Ariel is located in a foster home in Pinckney and her adoption fee is $200. All MISR cats are spayed or neutered, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed.
