LUKE CANNOT GO TO A HOME WITH CHILDREN UNDER EIGHT YEARS OF AGE.

Luke Skywalker was born on 5/4/20 and is an adorable Flame Point, Highlander Lynx/Ragdoll mix. He has long, soft fur like a Ragdoll.  Luke is also polydactyl (6 toes). This unique characteristic requires a very experienced cat owner who is skilled at trimming nails. Besides his regular claws, there is a claw by his “thumb” that must be located and carefully trimmed; or it may grow into the tissue that is very close to the end of the nail. Luke needs to have his nails trimmed every few weeks.

Luke also has “Highlander” ears that are a little bit curled but the cartilage is stiff enough to make his ears difficult to clean. Cats with stiff ears can be prone to getting infections and wax/dirt buildup. NO BEGINNER CAT OWNERS.  Only experienced cat owners will be considered as adopters for Luke. His ears need to be checked and cleaned weekly.

Luke has an incredible personality and gets along with other cats and people. He was handled by a human momma minutes after his birth.  He loves his humans very much! Luke is very playful but also enjoys sitting on the couch with his people for TV time.  He wants to be close to his people and sleeps next to foster dad’s head.
