MISTY HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING 01/10/17.
Hello, my name is “Misty” and I was born on August 7, 2007 which makes me nine years old. I am female, spayed and front paw declawed. My owner gave me up because I was very stressed by the increasing number of cats and dogs coming into my home. I was being kept in a large dog crate and was very unhappy.
I am glad to be in my new foster home with only one other cat. We have not been formally introduced yet. It will be a gradual process.
I am very affectionate and love being petted. My foster mom thinks I am a little on the timid side. I need to be approached slowly and will need time to adjust when I go to my forever home. My best friend right now is a 10-year-old girl who gives me lots of attention and handles me very gently.
My previous owner thinks I look like I have some Himalayan in me. I guess I am sort of fluffy so maybe he is right.
I am looking for a reasonably quiet home. It could have well-behaved children (over 10 years old, please) and maybe one other cat. While there were dogs at my previous home, I am unsure if I could adapt to a house with dogs and cats. The prognosis may change at a later date but right now, I need a quiet, peaceful home instead of a busy one.
MISR cats are FiV/FELV tested, spayed/neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper and all known health issues have been addressed. Misty's adoption fee is $125.
